Anyone know the status of Dean Koontz's third and final installment of the Frankenstein series he wrote?

I thought it was supposed to be out last summer or even this summer but it's not. At least not to my knowledge. I've read Prodigal Son and City of Lights and am dying to know the finish of the series, and was awaiting the third book but I haven't heard or seen anything about it.
