HELP I need mortgage advice?

I need some advice. Me and my partner want to get a mortgage in the UK for around 150000-160000 we have a deposit of 40000, now the problems he is an American working in Antigua and I am a discharged bankrupt, I have only been discharged about 1.5 years. My partner earns 25000 a year basic with commission on all sales which are not guaranteed always. I’m Self Employed but only just so do not have a regular income, about 100 a mth plus I get 673 family/working tax credits. I also get 50.00 a week in maintenance from my ex husband. Is there a way my partner can get an overseas mortgage here? Really would appreciate any information.
