Ladies...is it 'imperative' that your new 'bf' soon to be 'hubby' APPRECIATES your 'male friends' ?

My fiance (now husband) told me that all my male friends (and a few of my female ones were w@nkers). In terms of the male friends - I was told to get rid of them as they were only waiting until I was desperate/drunk to get into my drawers. The female ones - were trying to influence and control me and did not have my best intentions at heart. Interestingly, it turned out he was right. I have no male mates anymore apart from the guys at work. I have a handful of female friends who are the dogs doodahs and who get on well with my husband. I didn't resent his opinion and I went along with his requests because ultimately, he is more important to me than anyone (along with my children of course and my bestest friend). Its up to each individual though but if you have concerns, you should voice them - why shouldn't you be able to discuss any topic with your future spouse?
