Norse beliefs: Helheim vs. Niflheim?

okay so here is a link. Apparently,Helheim is right in the center of Nifheim, It is the worst part. It seems to be circles within circles. Since there is a river that encircles the place(s). Valhalla is the place for the honored dead.
