The 'main' philosophical arguements for/against censorship in the educational system?

I'm about to do an essay on Plato's 'Republic' regarding his views (and my own views) on censorship in the educational system. However I'm not really aware of the arguments and viewpoints out there. Can anyone help me by listing and perhaps explaining some of them? thanks
