2 questions bout the ufc who was the first heavyweight champion of the ufc? is dana the real owner?

im just curious, a while ago when i asked about frank shamrock someone told me he was the first ever LHW champ,so im wondering who ws the first heavyweight champ in ufc history. ok i read that danas friends bought the ufc and they just made him president,is this true , then if so why does he act like he owns it?
