Actual good French language music?

I'm studying French and want to listen to music while I work to make it a bit less of a chore. I feel like listening to music in English would be distracting though. I know that in France today a lot of people listen to British or American music, but I was wondering if anyone could suggest some good music in the French language, doesn't have to be actually French, could be Canadian etc. Anyway the kind of thing I tend to listen to is Pink Floyd, Simon and Garfunkel, David Bowie, Snow Patrol, Coldplay, that kind of thing really, any suggestions of anything decent in French?
