Why do I like to play with tape?

Why do I like to play with the adhesive from tape? Any tape it doesn't matter even the back of bandaid's. I'm not sure if it's a nervous disorder or just when i'm thinking. I'm not compulsed to do it or anything i'm just wondering if this is a common thing. i once heard some one call it putzing.
